Trialling cutting-edge technology and virtual reality
Liminal VR, in partnership with Youth Affairs Council Victoria and Deakin University, is developing the PLTS which aims to prevent mental injury among young workers and promote positive organisational cultures and leadership.
The project will leverage the unique emotional and cognitive effects of virtual reality to better equip leaders and managers to be able to improve workplace mental health for young workers.
Managers will interact with virtual reality avatars of young workers across common workplace scenarios aligned to the work-related factors. After completing the VR scenarios and self-reflection activities managers will be able to identify opportunities for prevention of mental injury and promotion of positive leadership within their own organisation.
